One of the most common misconceptions about golf simulators is that they require vast amounts of space. This project demonstrates exactly the opposite.

Working within a room measuring just 4 metres wide and featuring a relatively restricted ceiling height, Black Box Golf was challenged to create a truly multi-functional entertainment space without compromising on performance, comfort or aesthetics. The result is a room that successfully combines golf simulation, home cinema and gaming into a single seamless environment.

At the heart of the installation is a Trackman 4 golf simulator, providing world-class ball and club tracking technology for practice, coaching and entertainment. To maximise the versatility of the room, we also integrated a fully functioning home cinema system complete with immersive surround sound and PlayStation 5 gaming capability, transforming the space into an entertainment hub for the entire family.

Careful planning was essential throughout the design process. Every centimetre of the room was considered to ensure the space remained comfortable and practical. The Trackman device was cleverly accommodated within a custom coffee table solution, preserving clean sightlines and maintaining the room’s residential feel. Despite the compact dimensions, we were even able to incorporate comfortable sofa seating, creating a welcoming environment for both players and spectators.

The finished room delivers far more than a golf simulator. It provides a space where the family can enjoy movie nights, gaming sessions, live sport and realistic golf simulation, all within the same carefully designed environment.
